The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declares the class 12th exam results for the academic year 2017-18 today at 12:30 pm. This year, the pass percentage stood at 83.01 percent.

CBSE has announced its class 12 results today on their official websites; cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in. After the success of CBSE counselling before and during the exams, the board began post-result counselling from today. The counselling session will continue till June 9, everyday from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. Around 69 volunteers, principals and special educators from CBSE schools and psychologists will be available for tele-counselling.

Like every year, CBSE has not announced its result announcement timing. Some reports are speculating that board shall declare the results after 12:00 pm; while others claim that it could release class 12th results in next few minutes. Students are hence recommended to stay calm and keep visiting the official websites of CBSE; cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, results.nic.in. The board has also notified and requested students not to visit Board's office to collect their results. They will put the class XII exam results online and circulate the marks to its respective affiliated school in all the regions.

The stated link will guide you to a new web page; fill in the required details such as you roll number, date of birth, etc. and submit. You will be able to view your class 12th scores online.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce its class 12th results today on their official websites; cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in. Candidates who sat for the examinations that were held from March 5 to April 3, can check their scores online using their roll number given in their admit card. Reportedly, about 28 lakh students sat for CBSE Board examinations 2018 at various centres. Nearly 11,86,305 candidates alone have written the CBSE class 12 board examinations 2018 at 4,138 centres in India and 71 centres outside India.

After much speculations of results announcement, Anil Swarup, Secretary, Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) on May 25 tweeted and informed the awaited candidates about the same. However, the confirmed time for announcing the class XII results is not yet revealed by the board official. On the other hand, few media outlets are claiming that CBSE will announce the class 12th results by or after 12:00 pm. Students must keep a tab on the official website of CBSE as the board will announce the results anytime soon.

As CBSE will announce the Class 12 exam results today, it is expected that class 10 examination results will be out by next week. However, there is no official confirmation about the same. This year, CBSE has introduced several other ways through which students can access the results both online and offline. Apart from the official website; CBSE candidates can check their scores from other third-party web portals such as examresults.net, indiaresults.co.in, results.nic.in.

Steps to check CBSE class 12th examination results 2018 online:

1. Visit the official website;  cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in.

2. Click the link stating CBSE Class 12th results 2018.

3. Now, enter the required details such as name, registration number, school code, etc. and click submit.

4. Your CBSE class 12 results 2018 will be displayed on the computer screen.

5. Check your scores, download and take a print out of the same for future purpose.

CBSE Class XII candidates will get the marksheets for board results 2018 through DigiLocker. The account details for the locker has already been sent to all the student’s registered mobile number via SMS. This year, due to a case of paper leak CBSE had to hold a retest for Class XII economics paper. On the other hand, in Punjab, because of a Bharat Bandh call, exams which were scheduled on April 2 were cancelled for both classes, 10 and 12. These exams were later conducted in the state on April 27, 2018. This year, the board also provided computers for differently abled students and those with special needs, CBSE allowed for relaxation in attendance up to 50 percent.
