New Delhi, May 20: The result of National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) is likely to be declared on June 5. The Central Board of Secondary Education  (CBSE) will declare NEET result on cbseneet.nic.in. Candidates can visit the official website of NEET to check the result. After the declaration of the result, the all India counselling for medical aspirants will take place from June 12. The NEET was conducted on May 6 by CBSE.

NEET is conducted annually by the board. Candidates on the basis of their result get admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges. After clearing the NEET candidates are eligible to get admission in the colleges that are running with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Institutions established through an Act of Parliament are not liable to give admissions to candidates clearing the NEET.

Step 1: Visit the official website of NEET at cbseneet.nic.in

Step 2: After that click on the link that says “CBSE NEET result”

Step 3: Enter the required details

Step 4: After entering the details press submit

Step 5: Check the result and download the same for future

Counselling Details of CBSE NEET 2018:

  1. CBSE will provide All India Rank. The results will be given to Directorate General of Health Services so that the result can be provided to admitting authorities.
  2. Applications will be invited by the concerned admitting authorities for counselling. The merit list will be formed on the basis of All India Rank by the admitting authorities.

An All India merit list and All India Rank of the qualified candidates will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the NEET. Existing Reservation Policies will be considered while giving admission to candidates.
