CBSE Exam Revaluation 2018: Online Application to Verify Marks Will Close Today; Apply at cbse.nic.in

The students who are unsatisfied or have a doubt on the marks they scored in their CBSE board exams must note that the application for revaluation closes today, June 5. After the results announcement for both class 10 and class 12, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has begun with the verification of marks and the last date for which is today. All the CBSE candidates who are unhappy with their scores, should apply for revaluation on the official website; cbse.nic.in. To apply for a recheck, students will have to pay a fee of Rs. 500 per subject per class.
The last date to submit the application is June 5 but the amount can be paid till June 7, 2018. If the board comes across any application without fees, CBSE will reject those candidates’ plea. On May 26, CBSE released, class 12 exam results on May 26 and class 10th results were announced on May 29. It is a three-step process to apply for verification of marks.
How to apply for revaluation for CBSE examinations 2018?
1. Visit the official website of CBSE; cbse.nic.in.
2. A link under the announcement segment will appear stating, Verification of Marks/ Photocopy of Answer Book for Examination 2018 Class 12th/ 10th. Click the link.
3. It will guide you to a new window. Click the link for online application submission.
4. Now, select ‘apply for verification’ as per your course.
5. Enter your roll number, class 10th/ 12th school code and centre code.
6. Once you submit the details, you will be asked to select the subjects.
7. Continue to submit the application and pay the fee.
To apply for rechecking, students can only opt online. No offline applications for verification of marks would be accepted by CBSE. Students who will apply for verification of marks, are only entitled to get a photocopy of evaluated answer book. The board has also prepared the certificates for 28 lakh students who wrote both class 10 and class 12 exams 2018 and made them available through DigiLocker.
