CBSE Date Sheet 2018 for 10th and 12th published at cbse.nic.in: Exams Scheduled to Start from 5th March

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the date sheets for class 10th and 12th board exams at their official website. Both the examinations will begin from 5th March 2018. After a long anxious period, for teachers, parents and teachers, the board of education has finally shared the exams schedule. The class 10th exam will end on 4th April, while class 12th exam will continue until 12th April. Students can find the exams timetable at cbse.nic.in. Examinations for common subjects such as English, Hindi, Science, Social Science and Mathematics will be over by 28th March 2018.

As many as 28.24 lakh students will sit for the CBSE board exams in 2018. According to media reports, more than 16 lakh students will write 10th board exam while 11.86 lakh students will appear 12th board exam this year. Officials have also released that among the total number of students, eight are transgenders- six of whom will appear for the 10th exams and 2 for 12th. The CBSE exams for classes 10th and 12th will last for a total of 38 days.

How to check your date sheet?

1. Visit the official website cbse.nic.in.

2. Click the link ‘Datesheet for Board Examination 2018 Class X/ Class XII’.

3. The sheet will be displayed in a PDF format.

4. Download and take a print out for future references.

As per the CBSE guidelines, the affiliated schools will conduct the practical exams for CBSE classes 10 and 12 shall start from 16th January 2018 until 25th February 2018. The schools have been instructed to upload the practical marks on the website by 25th February 2018. It further initiates to upload class 10th internal marks at the official website between 10th January 2018 to 20th February 2018. The board has also directed the schools to nominate regular teachers for evaluating the answer scripts of CBSE classes 10 and 12. With the exam schedule, students can take a sigh of relief and hurry up with their preparation.
