CBSE CTET 2020: Application Process Starts From January 24, Exam on July 5, Get Other Details

The examination will be held on July 5, 2020 and the application begins from January 24. This will be the 14th CTET examination to be held. The examination will be held across the country in 112 cities and in 20 languages.

New Delhi, January 23: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the date of exam and application for CTET 2020 on Thursday. The examination will be held on July 5, 2020 and the application begins from January 24. This will be the 14th CTET examination to be held. The examination will be held across the country in 112 cities and in 20 languages. CBSE conducts the CTET exam, which is in two parts- Paper 1 who wish to be a teacher for Primary stage (for classes 1 to 5) and Paper 2 for Elementary stage (for classes 6 to 8) teachers.

The CBSE CTET website will release the detailed release on the exam on Friday, January 24. The bulletin by CTET 2020 will include information on the exam, syllabus, languages, and exam centers.

The information related to CTET 2020 exam will be available on the official website of CTET- ctet.nic.in. The CBSE has clarified that all application has to be done via online mode only.

The preliminary information available says that the cut-off date for depositing the fee online is February 24. The candidates can apply and pay the online fees till February 27, 3.30 pm. The application fees for the General and OBC category is Rs 1,000 for a single question paper and Rs 1,200 for both the question papers. For SC, ST and specially-abled category, the application fees for single question paper is Rs 500 and for both the question paper is Rs 1,200.
