CBSE Compartment Examinations 2018 for Over 1 Lakh Students of Class 10th & Class 12th Begins Today

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will host the compartment examinations 2018 for class 10th and class 12th from today, July 16 at various centres.

As the educational board announced their results, few students could not clear all their subjects. Only those candidates will sit for the compartment exams organised by different state and central boards. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will host the compartment examinations 2018 for class 10th and class 12th from today, July 16 at various centres across the nation. For the higher secondary students, the exams for all the subjects will be conducted today. On the other hand, class 10th CBSE students will sit for the exams starting from July 16 to July 24, 2018.

The online submission of the number of students who were placed in the compartment for class 10 and class 12 began on June 8. Meanwhile, CBSE has also introduced changes in the question papers and answer sheets. Being in the controversy over paper leaks, the board will implement improved security measures and double encrypted question papers which will be printed in the schools by the examiners during the class 10th compartment exams 2018. A CBSE observer and password will be present at each centre which has only 1000 candidates appearing in the examination.

Any candidates failing in one of the five subjects in the board exams sits for the CBSE compartment exam without having to repeat another year. A detailed circular along with the date sheet and fee structure of the examination is available on the official website of CBSE; cbse.nic.in. The board is expected to announce the results for the same during August; however, a confirmed date has not been released by the official yet. This year, CBSE announced the class 10 board exam results on May 29 which saw a pass percentage of 86.7 percent. Class 12 board results were announced on May 26 where 83.01 percent candidates successfully cleared the exams.
