CBSE Compartment Examination 2018: Board Will Conduct Class 10 & 12 Exams From July 16
A candidate failing in one of the five subjects in the board exams, participate in the CBSE compartment exam without having to repeat another year.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to conduct the compartment examination 2018 for both class 10 and class 12. All class 10 students who were placed in compartment sit for the exams which are scheduled from July 16 to July 14, 2018, at various centres. However, class 12 students will write the compartment exams on July 16. The date sheets were released in the last month in a pdf form on CBSE's official website; cbse.nic.in. This year, the results of the examination are likely to be released in the second week of August.

Looking at the past instances, CBSE announces the results for the same during August 2018, but so far a confirmed date of compartment exams 2018 have not been declared by the officials.
This year, being in paper leaks controversy, CBSE will introduce 'double encrypted' question papers which will be printed in the schools during class 10 compartmental exams. The online submission list of students placed in the compartment for class 10 and class 12 began on June 8. According to CBSE's official notification, only those whose names are submitted through the online process will be allowed to sit for the examination. CBSE announced the board exam results for class 10 on May 29 in which 86.7 percent students passed. The results for class 12 were declared on May 26 and 83.01 percent candidates qualified for higher studies.
