CBSE Class 12th Results 2018 Announced! Delhi Government Schools Performed Better in Board Exams than Private Schools
Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalayas (RPVVs) reportedly have bagged a whopping 99.79 pass percent than the Central Government’s KVs which stood at 97.78 percent.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced its class XII results on May 26 for the examinations held between March-April for the batch of 2017-18. This year, CBSE saw a 1 percent rise in their pass percentage of 83.01 percent than previous year. As the results are declared, there are a lot of success stories making headlines, but the best is to witness that the Delhi government schools has performed better, and its pass percentage has increased to 2.37 percent, touching 90.64 percent. Even private schools of the city stay behind this year with 88.35 percent of passing students. Twitterati is overwhelmed with the government schools performance this year and they are not shying away to give the credits to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal with a hashtag #AAPReformedDelhiEducation.
Union Minister Prakash Javadekar proudly informed the press that the government schools and government aided schools scored more than the average result. “It shows quality of govt schools improving,” he added. Kendriya Vidyalaya and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya schools in the capital city continued to shine with each securing 98.06 and 99.17 pass percentage. Each of the Kendriya Vidyalayas witnessed better results and in most of these schools, 90 percent students have successfully cleared the class 12th exams. But Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalayas (RPVVs) reportedly have bagged a whopping 99.79 pass percent than the Central Government’s KVs which stood at 97.78 percent. In fact, the schools under New Delhi Municipal Council also enhanced with 93.66 pass percent. They recorded a 4 percent improvement in results. This year, the number of government schools getting a 100 percent success in their results also rises up from 112 to 168. The girls in Delhi government schools 94.1 percent girls have passed CBSE class XII exams 2018; whereas boys recorded a pass percentage of 85.98, keeping up the trend as girls performed better.
