CBSE Class 12 Result 2019: Pulkit Kejriwal, Son of Arvind Kejriwal, Scores 96.4% in Board Exam

New Delhi, May 2: Pulkit Kejriwal, son of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, secured 96.4 per cent marks in CBSE class 12 examinations. Pulkit Kejriwal is a student of a private school in Noida. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday declared the result of class 12 examination 2019 on its official website - cbse.nic.in.

Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita shared Pulkit's marks on Twitter. "With God’s grace and well-wishers’ blessings, son has secured 96.4 percentile in CBSE Class XII. In high gratitude," she tweeted. Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia and several other Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders congratulated Sunita Kejriwal on Twitter. CBSE Class 12 Result 2019 Released on cbse.nic.in: Transgenders, Girls Outshine Boys.

In 2014, Arvind Kejriwal's daughter, Harshita, scored 96 per cent in CBSE class 12 examinations. Later, she had cleared the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) as well. This year, the Delhi region showed improvement in the results as it had a pass percentage of 91.87 per cent. "CBSE Class 12 results: Delhi improves by 2.87 per cent as compared with last year," Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia tweeted.

In 2018, the pass percentage was 89 per cent, this year it jumped to 91.87 per cent. "Congratulations to all the teachers, parents and my dear students. You have made me feel proud," he added. Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora were declared joint toppers in the Central Board of Secondary Education's Class 12 board exams as per the results declared on Thursday, with the overall pass percentage being 83.4 per cent. The girls outshone boys this time by nine per cent. The pass percentage for boys was 79.40, while for girls it was 88.7 and 83.33 for the transgender category.
