The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is about to conclude the board examination 2019 and the evaluation process for the same has been initiated already. There were a few papers which students claimed to be lengthy, while others were considered average during the CBSE board exam 2019. Above all, a notice was doing rounds on WhatsApp recently, that claimed the board would reconduct class 12 Physics and Economics exams. CBSE had conducted the class 12 Physics paper on March 5 and Economics on March 27, 2019. The fake notice which was shared on the messaging app, stated that the board has taken cognisance of "certain happenings" in the conduct of a few exams and hence has decided to re-conduct the same, as reported by The Quint. After coming across the photoshopped notice, CBSE issued a fresh notification on its website, asking its students and stakeholders not to fall prey of such rumours. In its notification, CBSE stated, "It is come to the notice of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) that a fake information regarding the re-conduct of examination of subject Physics and Economics of Class XII is being circulated on whatsapp. The date of this information is 28.03.2019 which has been signed by Sh. K K Choudhury, former Controller of Examinations. This is brought to the notice of Stakeholders that the news of re-conduct of Physics and Economics of Class XII is fake." "All Stakeholders and public is requested not to give any heed to the rumors like the above said one and cooperate with the CBSE in the smooth and fair conduct of examinations," the notice read further. The board has concluded the class 10 exams on March 29, and the results are expected to be announced by the first week of June. Again, the CBSE class 12 board examinations will end on April 4, 2019.
