The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is slated to conduct the board examinations 2019 from next month. Class 12 exams will begin from February 12, and the board has just made an important announcement for all the candidates. The class 12 students who studied Python in the 2017-19 academic session can take a sigh of relief as CBSE has decided to prepare the Computer Science question paper on the basis of 2018 pattern. CBSE had prescribed the new syllabus for class 12 computer science for 2019 board exams. However, as media report states, many schools continued to teach the Python language in the current academic session. For the students’ convenience, CBSE decided to include both C++ and Python in the computer science board papers which are scheduled to be held on March 28 from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. On the exam day, students will have to mention the section name which they are appearing on the title area of the answer booklet. CBSE to Introduce Artificial Intelligence As Elective Subject for Classes 8, 9 & 10. 

In March 2018, CBSE had released a notice about the revision of course curriculum and the continuation of certain subjects. After the failed attempt of the CBSE affiliated schools to comply, the board has come up with the recent move for the smooth conducting of the examination. The board has issued many other changes for the 2019 exams that include the extension of passing criteria for class 10 students. They need to get a minimum of 33 per cent marks in theory and practical together to declare pass in the subject.
