As the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the class 12th results 2018 on 26th May, speculations regarding class 10th board result date arises creating sense of panic among students. Some media reports are now claiming that CBSE will announce its class X results on May 30 while other states scores to be out on May 31, 2018. But the officials of CBSE have today confirmed that results will be declared tomorrow, 29th May. Earlier Secretary of Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry on May 27 through his tweet that the class 10th results date will be announced 'in a couple of days'. So, it is highly advised to all the students—don’t go by rumours! The board will declare the results on its official website; cbse.nic.in.

This year, more than 28 lakh students appeared in both CBSE class 10th and class 12th exams at around 8,591 centres across the country, Gulf and other nations. CBSE conducted class 10 exams from March 5 and continued till April 4. While CBSE had been in a lot of controversies this year due to a case of paper leaks which lead to a retest for class 12; the Board in an earlier statement informed candidate that such reasons will not affect in announcing the results for the academic year 2017-18.
