The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) opened the window for the verification and revaluation process of class 10th and class 12th compartment exams. All the candidates who are not satisfied with the marks obtained can apply for the same, from today on CBSE’s official website; cbse.nic.in. The Board had released a schedule in respect of the procedure of verification, obtaining a photocopy of the evaluated answer books and re-evaluation for the candidates who have appeared under the Secondary School and Senior School Compartment Examination 2018. CBSE announced the class 10 and class 12 compartment results earlier this month. All the students are recommended to read the detailed notification as released by the board before applying for the re-evaluation. To request for the verification of marks, a candidate will have to deposit Rs. 500 per subject and the last date for the fee submission is August 20. For obtaining a photocopy of answer book, a class 10 student will have to pay Rs. 500 and class 12 student shall pay Rs. 700 per subject. The result of the verification of marks will be uploaded on the website of CBSE. It is important for the candidates to note that, in case of any change in marks, a formal letter will be sent by the concerned regional officer of CBSE through speed post.

On the other hand, the notification states that the candidates who will apply for obtaining a photocopy of the evaluated answer book will be eligible to apply for re-evaluation of marks and the fee for the same would be Rs. 100 per question only for theory. To apply for verification of marks, providing a photocopy of evaluated answer books and re-evaluation can apply online by submitting their roll numbers, five-digit school number and centre number.
