New Delhi, May 5: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 results will not be announced on May 5, the Board informed on Sunday. According to a tweet by ANI, Rama Sharma, PRO CBSE said there is an unconfirmed fake news being circulated on some social media platforms about CBSE class X results being announced on May 5. "It is to inform all Principals, students, parents and public that CBSE class X results will not be declared on May 5", Sharma said. The PRO further added saying that the Board will duly inform the date, time and arrangements to access results, through official communication. According to media reports, it was informed that the CBSE will announce the Class 10 results on Sunday, May 5 on its official website at cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in. Students who appeared for the examination can visit the above given websites to check their scores online. On Thursday, the central board had surprisingly released the Class 12 results. Earlier, it was reported that class 10 and class 12 results will be announced in the third week of May.

Check the Class 10 scores Online; Here's How
- Visit the official website- cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in
- Click on Class 10 results.
- Enter your roll number and other admit card details and click on Submit button.
- Once the result appears on the screen, you can download your CBSE result 2019 for offline use or print it.
Meanwhile, search giant Google and Microsoft are also easing the process for students to check the Class 10 result online. It must be noted that the Class 10 exams were conducted from February 2 to March 29. The exam saw the participation of nearly 27 lakh candidates. As Class 12th results were announced on Thursday, the Class 10th results are expected to be declared soon. In 2018, the overall pass percentage of 86.70 percent was registered by the Class 10 CBSE students.
