New Delhi, May 6: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results for Class 10 exam on Monday. After the announcement of the results, the toppers list is out too. Siddhant Pengoriya and Divyansh Wadhwa of the Dehradun division have topped the exams. They secured 499/500 along with 11 other students. Siddhant Pengoriya is Class 10 Topper with 99.8 percent. The total pass percentage in CBSE Class-10th Exams is 91.1 %; Trivandrum (99.85%), Chennai (99%), Ajmer (95.89%) are top three regions, reported news agency ANI. More than 17 lakh students had appeared for CBSE Class X exams.

The results were announced around 2.30 pm, half an hour before it was expected. The results are available on the CBSE website for the students to be viewed.
Last week, the results for Class 12 exam were announced days ahead of expectations. The CBSE released the results ahead of ICSE board, which has always been the first to announce the results. CBSE Class 12 Result 2019 Merit List on cbse.nic.in: Hansika Shukla, Karishma Arora Secure Top Rank.
Recalling last years results, in 2018, 16.38 lakh students appeared for the class 10 board exams. The CBSE 12th result 2019 was announced on May 2 with a pass percentage of 83.7. Hansika Shukla from Ghaziabad and Karishma Arora from Muzaffarnagar, both from Uttar Pradesh, topped the CBSE 12th examination.
