CBSE Class 10 Maths Paper 2018 Leak Solved, says Ram Gopal Naik, Delhi Crime Branch

According to a recent report on ANI, CBSE Class 10 Mathematics paper leak case has been solved, as quoted by Ram Gopal Naik, Delhi Crime Branch. More details on the case are awaited. Recently, CBSE had announced that there will be no re-examination for class 10 Maths paper. It came as a huge relief to the students, who were under immense stress, ever since the news of leak came out in public. The Class 10 mathematics examination was held on March 28.

On March 30, the Ministry for Human Resource Development announced the date for the re-examination of the Class 12 Economics exam, and stated that if at all they would hold a re-exam for Class 10 mathematics, it will be restricted to Delhi and Haryana. The re-examination for Class 12 Economics paper will be held on April 25.

There has been huge agitation and protests  by students, after the news of re-examination came out. Enraged over a series of paper leaks in the ongoing CBSE examinations, students of classes 10 and 12 has demanded an assurance from the Board and the Education Ministry that the leaks would not happen again. Union minister Prakash Javadekar was quoted saying that "2-3 papers had been leaked on WhatsApp 30 minutes before the exams". He assured the outraged students and their families saying the culprits will be caught by further adding "I also could not sleep at night. I am also a parent."
