A total of 13 students scored 499 out of 500 marks in the CBSE Class 10 exams this year. The pass percentage this year has touched 91.1% which is a significant increase from the last year.  Moreover, 25 students scored 498 out of 500 marks, and 58 students scored 497 out of 500 marks.

The CBSE has introduced a post-result helpline for counselling services for all its students. Students who have queries can get in touch with the CBSE staff at 1800 11 8004. Reports inform that the services which will be available from 8 am to 10 pm only till May 16.

CBSE had conducted the class 10th examination from February 21 to March 29. Reports inform that a total of 18, 27, 472 candidates were registered for the exam.

According to reports, the pass percentage this year has touched 91.1% which is a significant increase from the last year. In the Class 12 results, which were announced last week, 83.4% students cleared it. Girls performed better than boys and had a pass percentage of 88.70% against 79.4% of the boys.

New Delhi, May 6: Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) will declare class 10th results on Monday, May 6, at 3 pm at cbseresults.nic.in. On Monday, the Board had clarified that there are fake news being circulated about the result date and timings and said it would intimate about the date, time and arrangements to access results, through official communication.  Stay tuned here for live news and updates of CBSE Class 10 Results.

According to a tweet by ANI, Rama Sharma, PRO CBSE on Sunday cleared the air and said there is an unconfirmed fake news being circulated on some social media platforms about CBSE class X results being announced on May 5. CBSE Class 10 Results 2019 To Be Declared Today: How to Check Marks Online via Official Site cbseresults.nic.in, Google, and Microsoft SMS Mobile App. 

"It is to inform all Principals, students, parents and public that CBSE class X results will not be declared on May 5", Sharma said. The PRO further added saying that the Board will duly inform the date, time and arrangements to access results, through official communication. The CBSE had conducted the Class 10th exams from February 2 to March 29. The examination saw a participation of over 27 lakh candidates. Students who appeared for the examination can visit the websites- cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in. to check their scores online.

The Board, on Thursday, had surprisingly released the Class 12 results. Earlier, it was reported that class 10 and class 12 results will be announced in the third week of May. In 2018, the overall pass percentage of 86.70 percent was registered by the Class 10 CBSE students.
