CBSE Board Exam 2019: More Fake News Links About Examination Paper Leak Located on YouTube
CBSE informed that the board located more fake links on YouTube which falsely claims to have access to the class 10 and class 12 original question papers of subjects which are yet to be held.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is currently conducting the board examinations 2019 for class 10 and class 12 at various centres across the nation and overseas. With the beginning of the exam, the board has been dealing with fake news on question paper leaks online. Although, CBSE had registered FIR and the probe is underway, it appears that the rumours surrounded on paper leaks have not ended yet. In a recent public advisory notice, CBSE informed that the board located more fake links on YouTube which falsely claims to have access to the class 10 and class 12 original question papers of subjects which are yet to be held. According to the press note available online; CBSE stated that the authorities had found class 10 English, Social Science and Class 12 Economics papers on YouTube. Students and their concerned parents can read the notice on the official website; cbse.nic.in. Along with web links, CBSE has further stated, “The board is keeping a constant vigil and bringing such unwanted activities to the notice of police immediately so that suitable and strict action against miscreants can be taken under provisions of IPC and IT Act. Two FIRs have already been lodged with Delhi Police on 6th March and 8th March, 2019, against persons circulating fake news regarding paper leak and availability of question papers prior to the examinations.”
Through the notice, the board has again requested the students and parents to not entertain such fake news in circulation and join hands with the board for fair and smooth conduct of the board exam 2019. Meanwhile, CBSE has launched a Podcast Shiksha Vani App for students to disseminate crucial information to students and parents on time. Through the app, the board has also notified the evaluation process of the ongoing class 10, and class 12 board exam has begun.
