Kolkata, November 5: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has issued admit cards for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024, which can be downloaded by registered candidates from the official CAT website at iimcat.ac.in.

The registration period for the exam ran from August 1 to September 20, 2024. The CAT 2024 exam pattern comprises three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA). CAT Admit Card 2024: How to Download

  1. Visit the official website, iimcat.ac.in

  2. Navigate the link to the 'IIM CAT admit card 2024'

  3. It will redirect you to the login page

  4. Enter your credentials and submit

  5. IIM CAT admit card 2024 will appear on the screen 

  6. Download and save it for future reference

Candidates cannot switch between sections during the test. A total of 66 questions will be presented in Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) and Type-In-The-Answer (TITA) formats. Correct answers earn three points, while one point is deducted for each incorrect MCQ answer.

Once the CAT is completed, candidates will undergo additional selection rounds based on individual IIMs’ requirements, such as interviews and group discussions. Admission criteria vary across institutions, and each IIM has specific guidelines published on its website.

The CAT 2024 results are expected in the second week of January 2025, with shortlists for interviews made available by each IIM on their respective websites.
