The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 registration deadline has been extended by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow.
Mumbai, September 18: The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 registration deadline has been extended by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow. The new registration deadline is now just two days away, closing on September 20. Those who meet the eligibility criteria and wish to apply can do so by visiting the official CAT 2023 website at iimcat.ac.in. Previously, the application deadline for the exam was September 13. The CAT 2023 admit IIM Lucknow will release cards on October 25, 2023, and the examination is slated for November 26, 2023. Know How to Register for CAT 2023
- Visit the official website for CAT at iimcat.ac.in.
- Click on the registration link once on homepage.
- Register for CAT 2023 and proceed to fill in the application.
- Pay the required application fee.
- Submit application.
- Take a printout of application for future reference.
CAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have a 3-year bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university with an aggregate of 50% marks for general category candidates and 45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD candidates.
The Common Admission Test (CAT) is the national-level entrance test conducted by IIM for the students seeking admission in 20 IIMs, and top-level MBA colleges like SPJIMR, IITs, IMI, MDI, JBIMS, FMS, as well as more than 1000 B-schools in the country. IIM will issue CAT 2023 admit cards online from October 25 to November 26, 2023, on the CAT's official website- iimcat.ac.in. Registered candidates can download the CAT admit card by entering CAT login details. On the day of the examination, it is mandatory to carry an IIM CAT admit card.
It must be noted that the registration fee for SC, ST, and PWD applicants is Rs 1200, whereas it is Rs 2,400 for all other applicants. For more details, candidates are advised to visit the official website.
