As scheduled, the Indian Institutes of Management Kozhikode has released the notification for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2019, today, July 28. The coveted entrance exam will be held on November 24 in two sessions across 156 cities in the nation. All those who are interested can check the CAT 2019 notification available online at the official websites iimcat.ac.in and iimk.ac.in. Candidates who clear the entrance exam will be able to study management courses including PGP, PGDM, PGPEM, EPGP, PGPBM, PGPEX, at various IIMs in India. IIM CAT 2019: Important Dates

  • CAT 2019 Registration: August 7 (10:00 am) to September 18, 2019 (5:00 pm)

  • CAT 2019 Admit Card Download: October 23 to November 24, 2019

  • CAT 2019 Exam Date: November 24, 2019

  • CAT 2019 Result: Second week of January 2020 (tentative)

IIM CAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50 percent marks or equivalent. The reserved category candidates SC, ST and Persons with Disability (PwD) should score a minimum of 45 percent from the recognised university.

IIM CAT 2019 Exam Pattern

The entrance exam will be of 180 minutes and candidates will be allotted sixty minutes to finish answering all questions in each section. The question paper will have three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability.

The participating IIMs for CAT include the seven flagship IIMs and 13 newer IIMs. The selection process involve a Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). The CAT website also has some of the most frequently asked questions which the candidates can check in case of any doubts.
