CAT 2019 Exam by IIM Kozhikode: Registration for MBA Common Admission Test to Begin From August Online at iimk.ac.in, iimcat.ac.in

After the medical and engineering entrance examinations, here comes another coveted, entrance test for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs. For all the candidates who are aspiring to study MBA courses, gear up as the registrations for the Common Admission Test (CAT) is about to begin very soon. It shall be noted here that CAT 2019 will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kozhikode. More details about CAT 2019 November examination is awaited and will be made available online at iimk.ac.in, iimcat.ac.in. CAT is an entrance examination required for MBA aspirants to clear and take admissions to IIMs or other prestigious Business schools. The Indian Express quoted Prof Shubhasis Dey, IIM-K who confirmed that the CAT 2019 exam details will be published by the end of July. “We will be releasing the exam date, application form release date and other details on July 28,” said Prof Dey. Below is the tentative and expected CAT 2019 entrance exam schedule.

  • CAT 2019 Notification: July 28, 2019
  • CAT 2019 Application Form: Second Week of August to September, 2019
  • CAT 2019 Admit Card: Last Week of October, 2019
  • CAT 2019 Exam: November, 2019
  • CAT 2019 Result: January, 2019

CAT 2019 is the entrance exam that students need to qualify to study MBA degree courses in any of the 20 IIMs or other prestigious B-schools in India such as Management Development Institute, Faculty of Management Studies, Jamnalal Bajaj Institute, XLRI, S.P. Jain Institute, JNU, etc. The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the written test, group discussion and personal interviews as the final round.
