The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta today announced the results for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2018 on the official website; iimcat.ac.in. Mumbai boy, Rounak Majumdar from IIT Kanpur tops this year’s entrance exam by scoring full 100 percentile. As the scorecard is now live, the IIMs from across the nation will share their list of cut-off scores to get admission for the 2019-20 batch. According to the recent reports, IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore is expected to add 805 more seats together but from next academic year if the centre approves them. IIM CAT 2018 Result Declared Online Today; What’s Next?

For this year, a total of 12,411 seats are available across the top 20 IIMs for all the courses. Again, the total number of seats for the Post Graduate Program (PGP) is 4318. Some reports are suggesting that based on CAT 2018 results, IIM Bangalore and Calcutta could keep their first cut-off around 90 percentile score and the IIM Ahmedabad is expected to keep 80 percentiles. IIM Calcutta conducted CAT 2018 on November 25 in two shifts. While the institute was preparing to declare the results, it was rumoured that the scores were leaked on the official website. However, IIM Calcutta did not respond and decided to announce the results on January 5. Each of the IIMs will announce their respective criteria for the admission of next academic session, and they have their separate selection procedure.
