CAT 2018: Online Registration for MBA Entrance Exam Begins Tomorrow; Apply at iimcat.ac.in

The online registration for one of the most coveted entrance exams for studying Master of Business Administration (MBA); the Common Admission Test (CAT) begins tomorrow. According to Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta, CAT 2018 online registration is slated to start from August 8 and the last date to apply for the same is September 19. It is recommended to all the aspirants that before commencing with the procedure, they must read the eligibility and every detail mentioned in the information bulletin. Once the candidates submit the applications successfully, after scrutinisation, they will be allowed to download their admit card from October 24 till the date of the entrance test. It is an important document, and the aspirants must ensure to carry a hard copy of the same to get an entry into the examination hall. The official statement as released by IIM Calcutta, CAT 2018 will be held on November 25 at 147 cities in two sessions across the country to pursue MBA. This year, the official organiser for the entrance test is IIM Calcutta, and the final scores are allowed to be used by the listed non-IIM member institutions.
CAT 2018 is comprised of three sections; Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension; Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability. Candidates will sit for a 3 hours computer-based exam answering to 100 questions in the paper. To be make it more convenient and introduce the aspirants with CAT exam-like environment, many websites host online mock test. In fact, a tutorial on IIM Calcutta’s portal will also be available online from October 17 to make it less stressful and simpler. On the other hand, from this year, the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will accept CAT scores for admission to the newly started MBA programmes.
