The Institute of Chartered Accountancy of India (ICAI) conducted the CA CPT (Common Proficiency Test) in June and CA Final in May 2018. Since then, there have been a lot of speculations on the results announcement date. As per the earlier official release, it is expected that ICAI would release the CA CPT and CA Final results anytime this week or latest by next week. However, a certain date on the same is awaited, and the CA aspirants are recommended to keep a tab ICAI's official websites; icai.org, icaiexam.icai.org as any confirmation will be published online. CA CPT, CA Foundation & CA Final Results Declared at icai.org, icai.nic.in. 

It was last month when fake news was doing rounds on social media about the release of CA CPT and CA Final Results 2018. ICAI Joint Secretary Exams stepped in and asked students not get misled by such rumours. A statement appeared on ICAI's official website to end such speculations, but it did mention that the Institution is planning to announce the results in the mid-week of July.

The statement reads, "It has been brought to our notice that a fake announcement regarding the date of declaration of the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) held in June 2018 and CA Final Examination held in May 2018, is doing the rounds in the social media. It is hereby clarified that the results of the CPT held in June 2018 and the CA Final Examination held in May 2018 will be declared in the normal course in mid-July 2018. The exact date of declaration of results of these examinations will be announced in due course, on the Institute’ website."

All the candidates who have sat for CA CPT and CA Final Exams 2018 must keep their admit cards handy as the results will be declared soon online. Taking past instances, ICAI generally informs the date of results few days in advance. Those who will clear CA CPT will step ahead to the next level and start preparing for CA IPCC, and the CA Final qualified candidates will become a certified Chartered Accountant. Any notification regarding the results will be issued on the official website of ICAI.
