BSE Odisha to Declare Class 10th Results 2018 on May 7 at bseodisha.nic.in; Officials Confirmed at a Press Meet

BSE officials confirmed at a press meet to declare their class 10th results on May 7 on their official website. The School and Mass Education Minister, Badri Narayan Patra will declare the results from the board office.

After much of speculations, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha announced in a press meet today that the results of class 10 examinations will be out on May 7, 2018. Earlier, the result announcement was tentatively scheduled to the first week of May. In fact, several media reports were claiming the results to be released on May 5 until the BSE President, Jahanara Begum informed to hold a press meet about the date of its announcement. “The Board will announce the results of Class 10 examination on Monday,” a BSE official was quoted in Indian Express while addressing the media.

The School and Mass Education Minister, Badri Narayan Patra will declare the results from the board office. The class 10 exams for the academic year 2017-18 were written by 5.90 lakh students that began from February 23 to March 8 at nearly 2,818 centres. Once declared, the students can check their results on the official websites; bseodisha.nic.in, bseodisha.ac.in, and results.nic.in. Apart from this, class 10 students can know their results through SMS, they need to type OR10 <ROLL NO> and send it to 5676750.

Here are the quick steps to check BSE class 10th results:

1. Visit the websites; bseodisha.nic.in, bseodisha.ac.in, results.nic.in.

2. You will come across a related link that states—Class 10th Results 2018.

3. Enter your name and registration number; click submit.

4. Your class 10 result will be displayed on the computer screen.

5. Download and take a print out of the same for future purposes.

The evaluation of answer sheets started at 57 centres across the state on March 20 and concluded on April 4, 2018. It is important for the students to note that they will receive the original marksheets at their school. Reportedly, 13,285 teachers were given the responsibility by BSE. Last year, the pass percentage for Class 10 was 85.28 percent and 74.24 percent students cleared the class 12 exams.
