There was a lot of false news out there, which created a ruckus among students, their concerned parents and teachers. CBSE became a significant target of fake news this year. First, it was the circular of re-exam of class 12 Physics and Economics, then came, CBSE class 12 board exam result date. None of them was true. And so was Bihar Board's matric result date, which surfaced to misled the students.
BSEB Class 10 Results Not on April 5
After the Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) declared the class 12 exam scorecard 2019, speculations aroused among students over the class 10 Matric result. Rumours flood on the internet that BSEB would announce the Bihar Board class 10 result on April 5, raising anxiety among the candidates. It was later reported to be only fake. BSEB officials issued a statement, asking its students to be aware of such bogus news and stay tuned to the official websites; bsebssresult.com and biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in for all the updates.
No Re-Exams for CBSE Class 12 Physics & Economics
A photoshopped image of CBSE notification claiming re-examination of Class 12 Physics and Economics was shared on WhatsApp recently. The fake notification reportedly stated that the board has taken cognisance of "certain happenings" in the conduct of a few exams and hence has decided to re-conduct the same. As it came to the board's notice, CBSE released an official notification alerting its candidates about the false claim. The board has no plans of re-conducting any examinations.
CBSE Class 12 Board Exam Result Not on April 10
Soon after the WhatsApp hoax on re-exam was reported, another fake news busted. This one states that CBSE would be releasing the class 12 board exam result on April 10. It was even a forged document suggesting that the results will be released in record time. Please note that the news is fake. In fact, the board has just concluded the class 12 exams, April 4 and the result is not expected anytime before the second or third week of May, 2019.
It is significant to note here that the boards have not yet confirmed the result announcement dates and all the claims that you come across online are mostly fake and mere speculations. Parents and students are advised only to refer the official circulars released on the boards' web portals.
