Mumbai, March 23: The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), has initiated the process of centre allotment and slot booking for the students who had successfully registered for the BITSAT 2018 exams.

BITS Admission Test, also known as BITSAT, is an online test for students who are aspiring to take admissions in first-degree programmes in BITS campuses in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad.

The institute’s official notification read: ‘BITSAT-2018 Slot booking is now enabled. Registered candidates may reserve the test date and slot on a First Come First Serve basis.’ Students are required to reserve their test slots before 5 pm on April 5 on bitsadmission.com.

The students who have secured the first rank in any board, central or state, for the year 2018 in India will be granted direct admission in the programme of their choice. The BITSAT score in that scenario will not matter then.

How to book test date and time for BITSAT 2018 online; Easy steps to register exam slots:

Step 1: You will have to log on the official website of BITS – bitsadmission.com

Step 2: You will have to then click on the ‘CLICK HERE’ link to book your test date and time.

Step 3: You need to then enter your Application number, gender, date of birth, email ID in the given fields.

Step 4: Click on ‘Proceed’ to book your slot.

Step 5: Review your details and download the confirmation page.

Step 6: You can take a print out for any further reference.

There will be no requests entertained for any changes in the test centres, once you have reserved the slot. Students can also visit the following link and follow the above mentioned simple steps. The direct link to the whole process is here.

The official notification on the BITS website read, “After you have reserved the test date and time, the hall ticket with detailed instructions will be available for downloading during 12th April 2018 - 10th May 2018. Make sure that you visit this website again between these dates to download the Hall ticket and instructions.”
