The Bihar board students are eagerly waiting for their examination results and the reports are doing rounds that results of class 10 and class 12 will be announced in the first half of May 2018. To the recent memory, this year the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has conducted the board exams a lot earlier than usual. The class 10 and class 12 exams began early in the month of February and ended in the same month. Parents and students were expecting that the results will also be declared  sooner. With the delay, the students and their concerned parents are now worried. But few candidates can relax as their strategy to delay their board exam results seems to be a success. Reportedly over 30 to 40,000 students have written their fellow partners’ roll number instead of their own.

Yes, at many examination centres this year, a whopping number of students have used the roll number of those who were sitting next to them instead of their own. As the evaluation process started, the teachers checking the answer sheets found that a considerable number of students have not just written their roll numbers at a wrong place, but they are incorrect as well. Experts suggest that this  mischief could be a reason why the board exams are postponed in Bihar. Now, if the information is correct, it would put thousands of students’ future at stake.

As per the reports, nearly 17,70,42 students appeared for the BSEB class 10 matric exams and 12,07,986 candidates sat for intermediate class 12 board exam in 2018. This year, the board has adopted stringent measures in order to curb mass cheating. Close to 1,000 students were expelled for cheating during the board exams. Putting all the speculations aside, we sincerely hope that the Bihar board results 2018 are declared soon and the state witness a successful ratio of pass percentage.
