Bihar Board Compartmental Results 2018: BSEB 12th Supplementary Result to be Declared at 3pm Today on biharboard.ac.in

Patna, August 26: Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) will declare the result of supplementary (compartmental) board examination for class 12 or intermediate class on Sunday, August 26. The Board in its notification said that the result will be declared at 3 pm. The result will be announced by the board chairman Anand Kishor.

There were reports that the result were to be announced on August 20, as a board official had said earlier. However, the result will be announced today due to the delay.

A total number of 1.55 lakh candidates appeared in the supplementary (compartmental) exam this year. The exam was held between July 13 and July 20.

On August 5, the Board uploaded the answer keys on its official website. Students were given three days to sumbit their objection via the online link which was given on the website. The deadline for the same was August 8.

Steps to check the BSEB Supplementary (Compartmental) Board Examination:

1. Students are advised to visit the official link of the board's website- www.biharboard.ac.in

2. Once the website opens, students should look for a link called BSEB 12th compartmental result. Clicking on the link would take the students to their result section.

3. Students are advised to enter their roll/seat number in the space provided on the page.

4. Students should then click on the Submit option making sure they have entered the right roll/seat number.

5. The result will be displayed on the screen in a short while.

6. Students are advised to take a printout of their result and keep it for further reference.

If a student has underperformed or failed in any of the exams, CBSE offers another chance to all students to better their results through compartment exams, improvement exams, verification and re-evaluation of marks. The passing criteria is that a student has to score 30% in the theory exam to pass and 40% to pass the practicals.
