The Bihar Board has announced the class 12th intermediate exam results and students have performed better than last year with a pass percentage of 52.95%. In 2017, 35.25% students qualified for higher studies.

The Bihar Board has announced the class 12th results for all the three streams today. There has been a 15 percent rise in pass percentage of Science than last year. 45 percent students from science stream have qualified for higher studies, 82 percent passed in Commerce and in Arts stream the pass percentage stood at 42 percent.

The Bihar Board will announce its class 12th exam results today on its official website. Candidates of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) intermediate can check their scores online at biharboard.ac.in. using their roll number as per the admit card. The board has not yet confirmed the result announcement time. However, some reports are claiming the results to be out at 4:00 pm today. Students and their concerned parents are recommended to keep their admit card handy and visit the BSEB website. This year, over 12 lakh students from Bihar sat for the BSEB class 12 intermediate exam at 1,384 centres across the state. Bihar Board will announce the results of class 12 for all the streams; arts, science and commerce today.

In order to curb the malpractices, several stringent measures have been adopted by the board’s officials this year. Quoting media reports, around 1,000 students were expelled as they were caught cheating during the exam. The evaluation procedure again went under strict monitor by the BSEB and it was reported last month that over 30 to 40,000 students have written their partner’s roll number in the answer sheets instead of their own which was cited as a reason for the delay. Finally, to put an end to all the speculations, the Board’s chairman Anand Kishore confirmed on May 26 that class 12 results will be declared on June 6.

Apart from the official website; other third-party web portals such as examresults.net, indiaresults.com will also host the results as BSEB pass on the information to them. Once declared, candidates can access to their scores online using their roll numbers.

Steps to check BSEB class 12th intermediate results 2018:

1. Visit the official website of BSEB, biharboard.ac.in.

2. Once the results are announced, the board will activate a link that states—Bihar Board 12th results 2018. Click the link.

3. Now enter your required details such as roll number, name, exam centre code and click submit.

4. Your BSEB class 12 exam scorecard will be displayed on the computer screen.

5. Download and take a print out for future references.

The students must keep in mind that the PDF file available online is only to serve first hand information. BSEB will issue the original marksheets soon after the results announcement. As Bihar Board has preponed its result declaration date from June 7 to June 6, candidates can now apply for graduate courses at Delhi University as the admission process begins from June 7, 2018. Class 10 students of BSEB should also be ready as the board is set to announce their exam results on June 20, 2018. Once the board announces both the results, students if not happy with their marks, can apply for revaluation of answer sheets by a nominal fee. The board will put the detail procedure for the same on the official website.
