New Delhi, January 7: The JEE Main (Joint Entrance Exam) Examination which is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, will be held as per the schedule despite the Bharat bandh. Earlier, the Bharat bandh which will see participation of about 25 crore people cast a doubt on the JEE Mains exams. Students and their parents were worried over whether the exams will get postponed. However, by evening it was made clear that the JEE mains exams will be held as per schedule and the parents as well as students breathed a sigh of relief. However, not all students were lucky enough to have their exams as per schedule. Several exams which were scheduled to take place on Wednesday have been postponed owing to the strike called by trade unions. The Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board (ASRB) announced that the National Eligibility Test (NET) 2019 Exam scheduled to be held tomorrow, January 8, 2020, has been postponed. The ICAR NET 2019 January 8 exam will now be held on January 11, 2020. The remaining schedule, however, stands unchanged. “Considering the concerns raised by Centre Supervisors, Directors and the Applicants/ Students, the board has reviewed the situation and it has been decided that the ICAR-NET-2019 Examination scheduled on 8th January, 2020 will now be held on 11th January, 2020 at the same time and venue,” reads the official notification. JEE Main 2020 Exam: First Session From January 6, Know Examination Paper Pattern Here.

National Testing Agency will conduct the JEE Main 2020 examination from January 6 to January 11, 2020, and the result will be declared on January 31. Those who will secure a rank in top 2,45,000, will be eligible to appear for the Joint Entrance Exam Advanced 2020 entrance exam for admission into the prestigious IITs.
