Often it’s the students who wait for their hall ticket before exam, but aspiring teachers in Andhra Pradesh who have been eagerly awaiting their hall tickets, received a good news from the commissioner of school education, Government of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. The admit cards for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test- 2017 were released on the official website on Sunday, February 11 and can be downloaded from the official website https://aptet.apcfss.in/. Candidates can download their admit card from the official website APTET 2017. Interested candidates are advised to keep following the website for further details and carefully read the notifications related to the download of hall ticket and exam format.
As per the notification on the official website, candidates can download hall ticket on '10.02.2018 onwards’. According to a previous information bulletin the Teacher Eligibility Test in the state of Andhra Pradesh were supposed to be held from 17.01.2018 to 27.01.2018 but there has been a delay and change in schedule. As per the revised schedule, the exam will now be conducted from February 21, 2018 to March 3, 2018.
According to the notification released on the official website, “The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET-December, 2017) is being conducted by Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh in all 13 Districts of the State through a Computer Based Test. The objective is to ensure National Standards and benchmark of Teacher quality in the recruitment process in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).” Following the trend elsewhere, APTET will conduct these tests online and will be computer based in 2 papers viz. Paper-I & Paper-II. The candidates who want to be teachers for classes I to V have to attempt for Paper-I and the candidates aspiring to be teachers for classes VI to VIII have to sit for Paper-II. The candidates who aim to be teachers for all classes from I to VIII have to appear for both papers, Paper-I and Paper-II.
