The application process for APGV posts was done from June 24 to July 5, 2019. All those whose application was approved, were interviewed from July 11 to July 25, 2019. The shortlisted candidates will next be called by the Selection Committee for document verification for the recruitment process. They will attend an induction and training programme that is scheduled from August 5 to August 10, 2019. The positioning and work will begin from August 15, 2019.
The AP Grama/ Ward Volunteer exam was scheduled to hire about 4 lakh vacancies for the said positions. The Gram Volunteers will be responsible for delivering government services at the doorsteps of households at the region. One volunteer will be assigned 50 households in the rural areas of the state. Each of them will a stipend of Rs. 5,000 per month.
