The Andhra Pradesh District Selection Committee (AP DSC) has postponed the exam which scheduled on December 6, 2018, by two weeks. According to media reports, the candidates will now appear for AP DSC 2018 examinations from December 24. The new exam schedule is expected to release by the end of this week. About six lakh students across have applied for 7,729 teacher vacancies in schools run by the State Government. Candidates are advised to keep a regular check on the official website apdsc.apcfss.in to stay updated with the related notifications. The notification for the teacher recruitment in Andhra Pradesh was issued on October 24, 2018, and the exams were slated to begin from December 6. TOI reported that since the State HRD Minister received requests from the candidates to postpone the exam as they felt there was not enough time to prepare for the same. Hence, AP DSC decided to defer the Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) and Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) cum TRT 2018 to a later date. The detailed revised exam timetable is expected to release soon. Meanwhile, the candidates who have applied for AP DSC exam 2018 may check the official website to download their admit cards which have been released. Students who will be selected through the recruitment drive will get a permanent job in the government state-run school. Every year AP DSC conducts the exams to hire eligible teachers for the state government primary and upper primary schools.
