Because of Cyclone Gaja, many schools and institutions cancelled their classes and exams in Tamil Nadu last week. Concerned over the situation, Anna University too postponed the exams that were scheduled on November 15 and post to that. The varsity has released the revised exam dates for all the courses on its official website; annauniv.edu. According to the notification, the theory papers of all the affiliated colleges for the undergraduate and postgraduate courses exam which were scheduled on November 15, will now be held on November 22 and for November 16, the exams is scheduled on December 13, 2018. Similarly, the theory exams which were scheduled on November 17 will now be conducted on December 14, 2018. The University candidates are advised to go through the revised dates notification and begin their preparation accordingly. As of now the above exam dates stand confirmed. In case of any natural calamities, there could be a postponement of the exams in the near future. The students must note that the remaining schedule of the exams will remain the same. The theory papers which were planned for forenoon would be conducted at the same time and the ones that were scheduled in the afternoon would be held in the afternoon. Besides, Puducherry University is yet to announce the revised exam which were postponed due to cyclone Gaja. The exams for all the courses which were to be held at exam centres located in Puducherry, Karaikal, Mahe, Yanam and Andaman and Nicobar Islands have been postponed. It is speculated that the varsity will share the fresh exam dates today.
