The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has postponed the nursing officer recruitment exam 2018. Citing the reason of Assembly Elections in Rajasthan and Telangana, AIIMS cancelled the earlier scheduled December 7 exam and is likely to announce the fresh date soon. The candidates who are preparing for the Nursing Officer (Staff Nurse-Grade-II) Group B are recommended to keep an eye on the official website of AIIMS; aiimsexams.org for further updates. Meanwhile, the online registration which has already begun, will close on October 29 for the nursing officer posts at AIIMS Bhopal, Jodhpur, Patna and Raipur. AIIMS PG 2019: Registration for July 2019 Entrance Exam Rescheduled!

The official notice reads, “With reference to the Advertisement No. 78/2018 dated 27.09.2018, it is hereby informed that due to the announcement of Assembly Elections in Rajasthan and Telangana the date of Recruitment Examination for the post of NURSING OFFICER-2018 for AIIMS, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Patna and Raipur scheduled to be held on Friday 7th December 2018 has been postponed till further orders.” About the announcement of the new exam date, the notification further stated, “The revised date of Recruitment Examination will be announced later along with the Scheme of Examination.”

The number of vacancies for AIIMS Nursing Officer recruitment 2018 is about 2000 as divided among Bhopal, Jodhpur, Patna and Raipur. The selection process for the candidates will be done on the basis of a computer-based test (CBT). It shall be noted that no change related to the registration dates has been notified by AIIMS so far. Hence, candidates must hurry up to avoid last-minute hurry in the application process.
