The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has begun their registration process for the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Candidates who are interested and yet to register themselves may do it soon as the procedure ends today, January 3, 2019. The basic registration for MBBS can be done by visiting the official website; aiimsexams.org. From 2019, AIIMS has introduced Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR), a two-way registration process—Basic and Final. According to the official notification, the students who are appearing for their class 12 board examinations or have already qualified the same are eligible to fill the basic registration forms. Steps to Fill in AIIMS MBBS 2019 Basic Registration
1. Visit the official website; aiimsexams.org.
2. Click on ‘Academic Courses’ tab.
3. Now, click on the Basic Registration for undergraduate courses as guided by the purple box and yellow arrow.
4. Enter all the required details.
5. Generate the registration ID and password to log in from the Applicant Login Zone.
6. Complete the next process—uploading digital images of photograph, signature and thumb impression.
7. Candidates are advised to keep a regular check of their registration status in MyPage after login.
8. Take a print out of the registration form for future reference.
What’s Next?
After the successful completion of the basic registration process, AIIMS will open the correction window to modify or edit or delete the wrongly filed during the procedure. Students can edit or change the same from January 8 to January 18, 2019. The candidates will then be invited to appear in the AIIMS MBBS 2019 final registration. At this stage, you are expected to enter the essential details like educational qualification, exam centre and fee payment. AIIMS MBBS 2019 will be conducted on May 25 and May 26 for admissions to the courses offered in New Delhi, Bathinda, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Deogarh, Gorakhpur, Jodhpur, Kalyani, Mangalagiri, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Rae Bareli, Rishikesh and Telangana.
