The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is all set, to begin their registration process from today, December 30 for the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) entrance exam 2019. Those who are interested in pursuing a course in medicine and surgery must gear up as the application window is expected to open at 5:00 pm. It shall be noted that the registration process for AIIMS MBBS 2019 has been changed and the authority has introduced Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR) a two-way registration procedure—Basic and Final. The basic registration for the upcoming entrance exam will continue till January 3. The correction window to modify or edit or delete the wrongly filled during basic registration will be open from January 8 to January 18, 2019. After the successful completion, AIIMS will begin with the final registration process which will continue till March 2019. The candidates who have passed or appearing or have appeared and are waiting for the results of class 12 with subjects including English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 60 per cent marks in aggregate can apply for the AIIMS MBBS 2019 examination. What after AIIMS MBBS Basic registration 2019?
Those who successfully complete their basic registration, will be invited to appear in the AIIMS MBBS 2019 final registration. At this stage, the candidates are expected to enter their details like educational qualification, exam centre and fee payment. Those who match the AIIMS MBBS 2019 eligibility criteria will be issued with the admit cards. AIIMS is expected to conduct the final registration process from February 21 to March 12, 2019.
AIIMS MBBS 2019 Exam Paper Pattern
AIIMS MBBS 2019 will be conducted in online mode only on May 25 and May 26 across four different slots. The exam will be a computer-based test (CBT). Students will have to answer 200 multiple choice questions asked from the subjects, Physics (60), Chemistry (60), Biology—Botany and Zoology (60), General Knowledge (10) and Aptitude & Logical Thinking (10). Each correct answer will be awarded one mark, and for wrong answers, one-third of the total scores of that particular question will be deducted.
The entrance exam is a gateway for admission to MBBS courses at AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS at Bathinda, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Deogarh, Gorakhpur, Jodhpur, Kalyani, Mangalagiri, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Rae Bareli, Rishikesh and Telangana.
