New Delhi, July 4: The Chief Economic Adviser KV Subramanian will table the new Narendra Modi-led NDA government's first Economic Survey in Parliament today. The Economic Survey is presented a day before the Union Budget and it is an outlook of the developments in the country. The data presented in the survey is a reflection of the current state of the Indian economy. The economic survey is a three-part document. While the first one gives an overview and opinion of the CEA on key issues and solutions pertaining to the economy, the second part contains key data from various departments and ministries. Subramanian is expected to give solutions that can help the government work towards resolving issues and boost the economic growth of the country.

KV Subramanian had tweeted saying, "Looking forward with excitement to table my first - and the new Government's first - Economic Survey in Parliament on Thursday. #EcoSurvey2019."

KV Subramanian was appointed as the Chief Economic Adviser at the end of the Modi government's previous tenure in December last year.
