New Delhi, April 26:  In another shocking incident of crime against women, an 11-year-old girl from East Delhi's Ghazipur was taken to a madrasa in Ghaziabad by a teen who allegedly raped her last week. According to a report on NDTV, the victim was held in captivity before the police could rescue her. The CCTV footage helped the police to track the missing girl. It was captured where the accused was seen taking the girl with him. On further tracing the girl's phone call details, they found her at a madrasa in Ghaziabad. The girl is currently in a shelter home run by the Child Welfare Committee.

The medical examination has revealed that the girl was raped and the girl's family has asked for a detailed probe and immediate arrest of the culprits.  According to an Indian Express Report, the accused boy has been apprehended under IPC section 376 and sections 4 and 6 of the POCSO Act. The family have alleged that it was a gang-rape and there are others involved in the heinous crime as well. However, no other arrests have been made till now.

On Tuesday, the case was further transferred to the Crime Branch. The news report states that Police might conduct a bone ossification test to ascertain the age of the boy arrested for the alleged rape.
