New Delhi, August 28: Owing to some planned periodic maintenance by Track department last night, temporary speed restriction has been imposed on Up line b/w Subhash Nagar & Tilak Nagar stations (going towards Dwarka). According to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), it is likely to continue today. This may result in minor bunching/delay on the Blue Line.
The maintenance work usually happens at night but the rains did not allow to finish it in the deadline, according to an ANI update. Delhi Metro Pink Line From South Campus To Lajpat Nagar To Be Inaugurated Today

On Sunday, Delhi Metro services on the yellow line were also affected due to technical glitch. The problem reportedly happened because of a shortage of power supply between the Huda City Centre and Qutub Minar station. This delay created immense problem for the commuters who were out on Raksha Bandhan.
