New Delhi, April 9: The lawyers of all six session courts of Delhi have called a strike tomorrow to protest against the assault on fellow brethren on Monday. The All District Courts Bar Associations have also sought action against police officials who did not pay heed to the attack on four lawyers at the metro station near Karkardooma.

"Co-ordination Committee of All District Courts Bar Associations of Delhi have suspended work tomorrow has called for complete strike on April 10 against the brutal attack on lawyer of Karkardooma Court," said the statement issued by Saket Court Bar Association honorary secretary Dhir Singh Kasana.

Kasana said the lawyers were roughed up by parking attendants at the metro station after an argument broke out. He claimed the police control room was called twice for help, but to no avail.

The consolidated lawyers' body have sought action against the police officials who allegedly ignored the alarm raised by the lawyers under attack.

Although the police made a couple of arrests in connection to the assault case, the lawyers have demanded the arrest of all 25 miscreants who attacked them. "The prime accused is still at large," Kasana was reported as saying.

Due to the strike, work in all district courts of Delhi is likely to remain affected tomorrow.
