Bhopal,  June 20: Swami Akhileshwaranand, MP Cabinet Minister has  requested the Madhya Pradesh government to constitute a cow ministry. Recently Madhya Pradesh Government elevated state Cow Protection Board chairperson Akhileshwaranand to Cabinet minister rank.

On April 3, the state government granted the status of Minister of State to five religious figures. Among them were religious leaders Namdev Tyagi — popularly known as Computer Baba, Pandit Yogendra Mahant, Bhaiyuji Maharaj (now deceased), Swami Hariharanandji Saraswati, and Narmadanandji to the Narmada protection panel and granted them the status of Minister of State (MoS).
