Over the last few days, air quality in Delhi is severe. Even today, the condition is 'hazardous' in many areas in the National Capital, prompting authorities to alert people to avoid stepping out. The dust storm in Rajasthan has caused deterioration in the air quality, and rise in high levels of PM 10. As quoted in an ANI report, Environment Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan said, "Situation should be normal in 1-2 days."
Most airlines have refunded their customers, however, as per reports Air India said is trying to transport the desired passengers from Chandigarh to Delhi through luxury buses so that they may get connecting flights to Sharjah, Dubai and Bangkok. Travellers therefore, need not worry, and it is advisable to check with the airline prior so that you can get all the current status of your flight.
