Mumbai, August 28: The Nashik Anti-Corruption Bureau has trapped a remand home superintendent, while he was accepting a Rs 1,050 priced carrom board as a bribe to release a 15-year-old boy. According to a Times of India report, police on August 4 had registered a case of robbery against unknown people. The juvenile's father approached the remand home superintendent for early release of his son, but the latter demanded a carrom board, and only after that will she recommend early release of the boy to the juvenile court.

The boy's father approached the Nashik police and a trap was set to catch the culprit accepting the bribe. The superintendent's clerk was also booked, both were produced before the special court and have been remanded in judicial custody.
