New Delhi, Feb 1: Finance Minister Arun Jaitley's Budget 2018 speech will be aired live on state broadcasters Lok Sabha TV (LSTV) and Rajya Sabha TV (RSTV). The live streaming of the Budget speech could be watched online here via the embedded YouTube link of RSTV or the attached live streaming link of LSTV provided below.

The Union Budget 2018-19 is the last full-term fiscal policy, under the incumbent tenure of the BJP-led government, being presented by FM Jaitley. All eyes are set on whether the Finance Ministry has leaned towards populism this time -- considering eight assembly elections to be held this year followed by Lok Sabha polls in April 2019 -- or sticked to fiscal prudence -- the trend seen in the Budget documents of past four years.

The Budget presentation is scheduled to begin at 11 am. The speech of Finance Minister could last from anywhere around 70 to 90 minutes.

Since LSTV is not live broadcasted on YouTube, viewers who wish to view the Budget speech via the channel are recommended to click on the official website link here.

Various classes of peoples, including the rural populace, urban salaried strata and the corporate sector hold key expectations from this Budget. Stay tuned to know whether FM Jaitley alters Income Tax law to allow for enhanced tax reductions, or finally brings down the corporate tax from 30 to 25 per cent, and whether the government is keen towards sending an electoral message to the rural constituencies by rolling out massive agrarian sops.
