Braveheart Fisherman Jineesh Jeron Who Rescued Several in Kerala Floods, Dies in Tragic Road Accident

Jineesh and his friend were on their way to Tamil Nadu, when the accident took place near Uchakkada.

Thiruvananthapuram, October 1: In a very tragic incident, a fisherman based in Thiruvananthapuram who had saved many in the devastating Kerala floods has died in a road accident last Saturday in his hometown. According to a News18 report, Jineesh Jeron, was riding a bike, when he fell on the road, and came under a moving truck. He received severe injuries and was rushed to a private hospital, where he died due to his injuries. Jineesh and his friend were on their way to Tamil Nadu, when the accident took place near Uchakkada. He was cremated in the presence of the people whom he had rescued from the floods. It was only a month ago, that Jineesh, along with other fishermen were given a grand reception for his great deed during the floods.

He along with his other fishermen friends had gained the limelight for their intervention that helped people to move out of marooned houses and buildings.
