Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Shashil Namoshi broke down in front of media and was in tears, after party did not give him ticket for the upcoming Karnataka Assembly Elections 2018. According to ANI report, while addressing the media in Gulbarag city on Monday, Namoshi said, ‘I’ve been working for the party for a long time, was shocked to hear my name is not there, I don’t know what happened but it has hurt me.”
ANI further reported that supporters of BJP’s Shashil Namoshi staged protest. The supporters were seen burning tyres on the road and raising slogans against this move of government.

BJP on Monday released its second list of candidates for the upcoming assembly elections in Karnataka. The second list of BJP comprises names of candidates from 82 constituencies. The party, in the past week, had released its first list of 72 candidates. On Sunday, Congress party also released its first list of candidate for Karnataka Assembly elections 2018. It declared 218 candidates in its first list for Karnataka polls, withholding names for remaining six seats of the 224-member house. Karnataka will go to polls on May 12. The results will come out on May 15.
