BJP Leader From Madhya Pradesh Who Assaulted Female Traffic Constable Arrested by Police

Bhopal, July 3: The Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) leader in Madhya Pradesh who assaulted a female traffic constable, has been reportedly arrested by the police on Tuesday. The miscreant has been identified as Munendra Singh, who was riding along with a pillion rider when the incident occurred.
According to news reports, the Additional District Superintendent of Police Surendra Jain said that the incident took place while vehicles were being checked in Lidhora area. The bikers were trying to escape after hitting a little girl with their vehicle in Tikamgarh district, about 275 km from Bhopal.
Upset at being stopped, Singh and his accomplice Pankaj both lashed out at the female traffic officer. They both slapped and punched her and even tore her uniform before fleeing from the scene. However, the police team present at the spot along with the female constable nabbed both miscreants and lodged a complaint against the duo for assaulting a police officer while on duty, apart from other grave charges.
